Smokey died suddenly in December, 2003, long
before Darcie was old enough to compete on her and before I could list their
accomplishments together. However, for me, Smokey has one of the single
greatest accomplishments of any horse I've owned, for she introduced me to two
of the greatest people I know and best friends I have in Sharon and Darcie...thank
you, Smokey, you are indeed loved and missed!
