$12,000 in futurities in 2003, Bubba has certainly proven he has what it takes
to run with the big guns. He was the Champion of the futurity in St.
George, UT, and placed highly at 5-State, Fizz Bomb, and others. He has
gone on to win money at several PRCA rodeos with very limited hauling. I
don't believe in over running them when they have health issues, and Bubba has
had soreness in his hocks. I have found a product, however, which will
allow me to run Bubba without the use of Bute. Bubba has also bled, and
having never dealt with a bleeder, it has taken me some months to learn how to
manage him. He was run on Lasix some in 2005, but I now feel I have a more
long term solution without the use of needles. He's now healthy and
